Located in the state of Gujarat, city of Ahmedabad has vast treasures of heritage to lure the tourists visiting the city. Ahmedabad basically experiences a hot climate. The summer season begins in mid of March and lasts till mid of June. The proximity to the Sea keeps the summers in Ahmedabad hot and humid and makes it unfavorable for Tourism.

Monsoon showers hit the city in mid June and the downpours continue till September. The rains bring in many roadside foods specially prepared from corn and numerous festivals. It is fun visiting Ahmedabad during Monsoon.

Winters arrive here in October and stays till March. The weather is most pleasant in this Season and favorable for tourists. It is a wonderful experience to enjoy the Gujrati Cuisines in open air restaurants and street dhabas.
Baroda:- 120 kms from Ahmedabad, it is called the garden city and the cultural capital of Gujarat. Sayaji Bagh, Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, Laxmi Villas Palace and Naulakhi well are the prime attractions of Baroda.

Daman:- 300 kms from Ahmedabad, Daman was under Portuguese rule and the imprints of their culture still dominates the life here. Fort of Moti Daman, Fort of St. Jerome Nandi Daman, Church of Bom Jesus, Catholic Church at Nani Daman and Devka and Nandi Daman beaches are the prime attractions of this city.

Gandhinagar:- 34 kms from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar is the second planned city of India. Akshardham Temple, The Bidhan Sabha Bhawan, Narmada Bhawan, Sardar Bhawan, Deer Park and children garden are the prime attractions of this city.

Porbandar:- 412 kms from Ahmedabad, this is the birth city of Mahatma Gandhi. It is known for its Kirti Mandir, Bharat Mandir, Sudama Temple and the picturesque Porbandar Sea Beach.

Rajkot:- 220 kms from Ahmedabad, Rajkot is known for Sarees. Places of interest here include Kaba Gandhi no delo, Nehru Gate, Rashtriya Shala, Jagat Mandi and hanging bridge.
