Cochin, popularly Kochi, surrounded by the Western Ghats in the east and the grand Arabian Sea in the west, is one of the most important port cities of India. The coastal town Cochin has a dry and humid weather during summers in March to May. Its summers are hot with the maximum temperature reaching to around 38°C. Its Monsoons enjoy heavy rains during June to September. The winters of the place are pleasant with lovely temperature ranging between 17°C to 30°C during December to February.
