Dalhousie located in the state of Himachal Pradesh in the north of India is a pristine hill station away from the maddening crowd of the popular hill stations. The forest of Dainkund is called the singing hill as the passage of the winds crossing the mountains produces mystifying sounds. Depending upon the speed of the winds the sounds can appear as a gentle humming to an eerie wail. The Satdhara or the seven springs are famous for its mineral water which was once shipped to England on routine basis.
