Weather

The monsoons arrive in Delhi in July and stays till September. The city doesn’t witness too much of downpour but the weather remains humid during these months. The movements might be restricted during the day because of the Sun or the rains. The night remains pleasant

  • Alwar:- This is the city of Prithvi Raj Chauhan and is known worldwide for the tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti. It also has the Jahangir Palace where Emperor Jahangir has met Sir Thomas Roe and granted the permission for trade between India and British East India Company, thus paving the way for British Rule in India. It also houses the majestic Adhai Din Ka Jhopra.

 

  • Chandigarh:- This garden city is known for the Rock Garden and the Sukhna Lake
  • Amritsar:- It houses the Golden Temple, the most significant shrine of Sikhs.

 

  • Mussourie:- It is an exquisite hill station near Delhi preserving the colonial charms
  • Dehradun:- The picturesque Dehradun is known for the magnificent architecture of its Forest Research Institute, Indian Military  Academy, Shashra Dhara or the hot water spring, Deer Park and Robber’s Den and for its countless significant shrines.
