Proximity to the Thar Desert keeps the climate of Jaipur hot and dry all through the year.

The summer season is extremely long here as the region hardly witnesses any monsoon. It stays between Aprils to September. The weather remains extremely hot during this season and restricts the movement completely during the day.

Winters start arriving in Jaipur from October and stays till March. The weather remains pleasant in this season and the city observes the heavy inflow of tourists.

Sanganer:- The small city at a distance of 16 kms from Jaipur is known for its marvelous handicrafts and hand printed Sanganeri textiles.

Abhaneri:- 98 kms form Jaipur near Bandikui, this place is famous for the 8th century Harshad Mata Shrine.

Samod:- 42 kms from Jaipur, this small city is known for its palaces and forts.

Sambar:- 94 kms from Jaipur is the site for largest in land salt lake of India called Sambar. It also has an exquisite palace and the holy Devyani tank.

Bairath:- 86 kms form Jaipur, Bairath is the site for some astonishing Architecture of Mughuls, Maurayas and Rajput rulers.

Jaisinghpura Khor:- 12 kms on the road to Amer, this place is known for a remarkable fort, a Jain Temple and a step-well.

If you prefer having your meets in the close serenity of nature then Jaipur has many wildlife sanctuaries like Sariska and Ranthambhore. Both these sanctuaries are known for being home to the Royal Bengal Tigers. While Ranthambhore was the hunting grounds of the royal clan of Jaipur, Sariska was ruled by the Royal family of Alwar.
