Over the lofty mountain ranges and encompassing the area of the Beas River Valley, Manali continues to be a worth visiting hill station, which tourists as well s honeymoon couples yearn to experience and explore. Manali in Himachal Pradesh is found in its complete form as you climb mountains through the narrow roads built at the mountain edges.

One can easily reach Manali by road starting from Delhi. And during the journey, one comes in contact with the places including Punjab, Chandigarh, Panipat, Bilaspur, Ambala, Ropar, Haryana, etc. You experience very cold climate in Manali if you visit it in winters and semi cold climate if you reach there in summers.

There is a legendary story related to Manali. It is believed that a sage named Manu visited Manali to regenerate life after the enormous flood on earth. It is due to this incident that Manali took its name from Manu and is also referred as the ‘Valley of Gods’.

The legendary Manu Temple is also a place to witness and for that you will have to head your way towards the Old Manali.

Apart from temples, there are Buddhist Monastries as well and there are three that have been lately developed. In the vicinity of Kullu, there exists a place called Jagatsukh, where you can find the old temple complex, in which Lord Shiva and Sandhya Gayatri are worshipped.

For those who wish to experience the joy of witnessing and experiencing huge amount of snow covering the mountains, there is the breathtaking Solang Valley or the hair-raising Rohtang Pass.
