Ranthambore
Falling at a distance of 180 Km from Jaipur, Ranthanbore Wildlife Sanctury has made a great impact on the minds of all the wildlife lovers because of its wild and arrogant tigers that reside in this park following the lifestyle of kings. Apart from tigers, there are plenty of other animals such as hyena, chital, leopard, wild bear, etc scattered over the park plain.
It was in the year 1984 when Ranthanbore Park acquired its national significance. The deciduous forests that are a part of the Ranthambore National Park look all the more gripping when the original nature of the forest comes to fore mainly in the period from November to May. One can closely and clearly watch the animals in their wildest form.
The northern region of this park is enclosed by the Chambal and Banas Rivers. As you move in this wildlife sanctuary, you would be surprised to spot the ancient and lofty Ranthambore Fort that back to the 10th century and that startles you completely by its 700 feet height.

In Ranthambore, you have Anantpura and Lakarda where you will be startled to see Sloth Bears galore. In the proximity of the Ranthambore Park, Kachida Valley is situated comprising of many hilly structures encompassing the land surface. One can quite easily identify bunches of panthers leisurely roaming around.
Another interesting sight in the Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctury is that of the Rajabagh Talao Lake. This lake immediately strikes your imagination as different animals closely dwell in its very proximity. Apart from giving shelter to tigers and the community of other animals, the park has historical aspect associated with it. Yes, we are talking about the Raj Bagh Ruins that can be spotted in themiddle of the two Talao lakes. In the form of ruins, there exist domes and other old structures belonging to the primitive times. Undoubtedly, these ruins add to the beauty of the entire park.
