Shillong

There are several places of attraction in and around Shillong. One can head towards the breathtaking Elephant Falls or Sweet falls. Or else, one can steer his way towards the lofty Shillong Peak from where the entire Shillong can be witnesses just at one go.

Among the lakes in Shillong, there is Wards Lake as well as Umiam Lake. And you would be amazed to know that they have been developed by man. Another attraction of Shllong is the Butterly Museum that appears to be vibrant with butterflies in multifarious colors.

However, if you are an avid traveler who just can’t stop himself from exploring the places surrounding a destination, then you should definitely turn your way towards the places such as Mawsynram, Cherraqpunjee, Jantia Hills, etc.
